John Shea, S.T.D.John (Jack) is the Executive Director, Program Development & Implementation for the Ministry Leadership Center.  Formerly, he was a professor of systematic theology and the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at the University of St. Mary of the Lake, and a research professor at the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University of Chicago.  He was also the Advocate Healthcare Senior Scholar in Residence at the Park Ridge Center for the Study of Health, Faith and Ethics and has taught at the University of Notre Dame and Boston College.

Jack has published over seventy articles and twenty books on contemporary theology and spirituality, including Spirituality and Healthcare: Reaching Toward a Wholistic Future (Ridge Center, 2000). He has recently finished a four-volume series titled The Spiritual Wisdom of the Gospels for Christian Preachers and Teachers that is a resource for lectionary-based preaching and teaching.

Jack lectures nationally and internationally on storytelling in world religions, faith-based health care, contemporary spirituality, and the spirit at work movement.
