Elizabeth is the Executive Director, Formation & Integration Initiatives for the Ministry Leadership Center. She provides vision and strategic leadership to ensure effective and lasting integration of the MLC formation process within the sponsoring systems. In addition to this work, she will also serve as a resource and consultant to sponsoring systems in the development of system-specific initiatives in the area of ministry formation.
Elizabeth’s professional experience spans three formal ministry’s of the Church – Social Services, Education and Health Care. She has worked in areas of faith formation, liturgy, leadership development, spiritual direction, strategic planning, public relations, diversity and community services. Most recently Elizabeth served in Providence Health & Services as Chief Mission Integration Officer. In her Mission leadership role she worked with sponsors, boards, executive leadership, managers, physicians, staff and community partners.
Elizabeth has a B.A. from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame and an M.A.L.S., with a concentration in religious studies from DePaul University, Chicago. An M.A.H.C.M. from Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis. Elizabeth is committed to enlivening the interplay of culture, faith and the arts in the lived expression of Catholic ministries. She is a poet and storyteller with an interest in elevating the luminal spiritual elements inherent within individuals and values-based corporate bodies. A native Oregonian, she resides in Portland, Oregon.
