Jack Mudd is Senior Vice-President, Mission Leadership, of Providence Health & Services. He is past chair and member of the Board of Trustees of Ascension Health, the country’s largest Catholic and non-profit hospital system, and is currently chair of the board of the Ministry Leadership Center, based in Sacramento. He was the initial chair of the Board of Directors of Providence Services. Before joining Providence, Mr. Mudd was in private law practice where his work included extensive service as a mediator and arbitrator. He has been a law school dean and has served on commissions examining higher education issues at the state and national levels.
He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in philosophy from the Catholic University of America, his J.D. from the University of Montana and his LLM and J.S.D. degrees from Columbia University.
